There are a plethora of wedding photographers out there who are willing to give up their Saturday nights for a few thousand rand and promise you FANTASTIC photos…. And I guess they all have enough work as each bridal couple’s idea of fantastic photos differ.

I have looked at more wedding pictures (of total strangers) these last couple of months than I thought I ever would! Be honest, the only time you are interested in someone else’s photos is when you actually feature in one or two of them! So trawling through all the different portfolios can be mind numbing, to say the least. Until you find the photographer that captures what you consider important in a wedding! If you like posed family pics, you will love the photographer that got granma and granpa and the grandkids smiling stiffly at the camera. If you love black and white pics with the roses digitally coloured then there is a photographer for you out there. I fell in love with her photos immediately! Her photos tell you so much about the people in them, about the emotion and moment. We are meeting with her in the next week, and I am sure we will get along great! Which is rather important, as the photographer will be spending more time with you than anyone else on the wedding day!
