I am seeing more and more brides who are incorporating black into their colour schemes. It would seem like black is not synonomous with sadness/grieving/death anymore, and it is now acceptable to see bridesmaids dressed in black or even black wedding dresses.
The colour black works well with most other colours, including white, pink and yellow and it can be used to marvelous effect with these accent colours.

I recently shot a wedding that used Zebras as a theme. The bride whore white, but the bridesmaids incorporated black as did some of the guests.
